Rough planks of timber are cut down to size, sanded & joints are cut out using the mortise & tennon machine. These are then assembled together using glue & nails. Corner blocks are added to ensure strength & support joints on chairs & seating. Quality is very important at each step of the process.
We offer a standard range of 15 polish colours. Should you wish us to match with a non-standard colour, or a previous order, a sample must be provided by yourself and our subsequent sample match approved by you. You must allow at least 5 working days for this process. Please note that colours between batches may differ slightly.
All our fitted seating is manufactured from steel. The steel comes in bales and are cut down to size & welded together. We specialise in making steel frame chairs and stools. The steel is bent using a C&C bender. These frames can then be powder-coated to any colour. Cast iron table bases can also be powder-coated to any colour.
All fabrics/leather are hand cut once we calculate the quantity needed. We then test them on the chair frame to ensure the fit is perfect before we move onto the finishing details. We double check all elements such as piping detail, double stitch detail, buttoning detail, diamond stitch etc, before we progress the project.
Everything is brought here for finishing. Chairs and seating are web weaved to ensure they meet the highest standard of quality. Foam is tested to ensure correct comfort levels are met & then the product is upholstered in the desired fabric/leather spec’d by the client. Bespoke detailing can be achieved here such as deep buttoning, quilting, single button detail, studding & piping.
All our products are checked at each manufacturing level. They undergo specific strength and durability tests in order for all furniture to last the test of time in a contract environment. Each piece of furniture is wrapped to ensure a safe arrival. Goods are then transported using our own fleet.
